Deposit Policies
Why Do We Require a Deposit at Aloha Micro Academy? 🌺
Your child’s deposit isn’t just a payment — it’s a promise.
When you submit a deposit to Aloha Micro Academy, you are formally reserving a seat for your student in our upcoming school year. Because our class sizes are intentionally kept small to maintain personalized attention and an ‘ohana (family) feel, every seat truly matters.
👉 What your deposit does:
• Locks in your child’s spot in our limited-capacity program
• Prevents that spot from being offered to another family
• Allows us to confidently plan staffing, curriculum, and materials for your student
• Demonstrates your commitment to joining the Aloha ‘ohana 🌈
Once a deposit is placed, we stop accepting other applicants for that spot — meaning we turn away other interested families in order to honor your child’s enrollment. That’s why deposits are so important and are applied directly toward your annual tuition.
Mahalo for understanding and partnering with us to keep Aloha Micro Academy’s learning environment small, nurturing, and focused on what matters most — your child’s success. 🌴📚✨
Refund Policy Explanation for Deposits & Tuition Payments
At Aloha Micro Academy, deposits and tuition payments are used to reserve a space for your child and secure curriculum, staffing, and materials based on their enrollment. For this reason, refunds are only approved in cases where a family provides official documentation showing that their student has been denied funding through the Odyssey or ClassWallet programs.
In order to qualify for a refund, families must submit:
• A formal denial letter or email from Odyssey indicating the student is not eligible or was rejected for educational funding; or
• Written proof from ClassWallet stating the student does not qualify to participate in an approved ESA/ClassWallet-funded program and therefore cannot receive reimbursement for Aloha Micro Academy.
Without this denial documentation, we are unable to refund deposits or payments, as your student’s seat has been reserved and program resources have already been allocated for them.
This policy helps ensure fairness and allows us to maintain the small class sizes and high-quality programming our families expect.
